Recognising Foulford's Lollipop Man Tom McPhillips
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the contribution that the school crossing patroller, Tom McPhillips, has made to the school community at Foulford Primary School in Cowdenbeath; considers that this has included the gifts that he provided to children every holiday season, including giving away around 300 selection boxes at Christmas time in 2025; notes that the staff and pupils at Foulford Primary School honoured Mr McPhillips at the school’s Christmas show, where the pupils sang You’ve Got A Friend In Me while he was on stage, and wishes Tom well in his retirement, in which he plans to spend more time travelling and walking with his wife, Maggie.
