Success of MacMoray 2026
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the organisers, volunteers, performers and local businesses involved in the success of the 2026 MacMoray Festival; recognises the festival's continued contribution to the cultural and economic life of Moray and the north of Scotland; notes that the event attracted thousands of attendees to Elgin and showcased a wide range of musical talent and entertainment; commends the efforts of festival organiser Andy Macdonald for making MacMoray a safe, inclusive and family-friendly festival experience, and wishes MacMoray further success for 2027.
