Congratulating Pitlochry Station Bookshop on its Milestone of Raising Over £500,000 for Charity
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Pitlochry Station Bookshop on its incredible efforts to raise over £500,000 for charity since its opening in 2006; recognises that the bookshop is a staple of the community that is run entirely by volunteers, with all proceeds going to charities; further recognises the importance of Scotrail’s "Adopt-a-Station" scheme, which helps to retain many beautiful station buildings across Scotland; encourages communities to make use of the scheme, protecting stations and providing a welcoming environment for visitors, and wishes Pitlochry Station Bookshop all the best and many successful years ahead.
