The Gailes Hotel and Spa in Irvine Recognised as Scotland’s Best Spa Hotel

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Gailes Hotel and Spa in Irvine, which is part of the SimpsInns group, on securing the accolade of Scotland’s Best Spa Hotel at the ninth annual Scottish Prestige Hotel Awards, which were held in Glasgow; understands that this award recognises the hotel’s reputation as one of Ayrshire’s and Scotland’s leading spa destinations; recognises that the Gailes Hotel and Spa has also been awarded Boutique Spa Hotel of the Year by the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) and the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC); understands that these honours reflect what it sees as the high-quality facilities and exceptional customer experience provided by the team; recognises the contribution of the hospitality sector to the local economy in Cunninghame South; commends Jack Simpson and the wider SimpsInns team for their continued commitment to excellence, and wishes the Gailes Hotel and Spa every success in the future.
