Celebrating the Work of Ayrshire Charity NODA

The motion

That the Parliament commends the important work carried out by NODA (No One Dies Alone) Ayrshire; understands that NODA is an Irvine-based registered charity set up in 2018 and run by volunteers, which provides emotional support and companionship to people facing crisis or dealing with trauma or end of life issues across all of Ayrshire; notes that NODA has trained 32 volunteers to provide a nourishing presence to those lonely and isolated at the end of life; understands that NODA also provides psychotherapeutic therapies, holistic support and wellbeing services by supporting people to live better and more fulfilled lives; wishes everyone associated with NODA every possible success in the future in its mission to ensure that not only no one should die alone, but also that people should be supported through trauma and difficult times, to live the best lives they can, and applauds this charity as it goes from strength to strength.
