Aberdeen Runway Run Raises More Than £71,000 for Charities
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the success of the seventh annual Aberdeen International Airport Midnight Runway Run, which was held in partnership with CHC Helicopter; understands that 400 people took part, raising more than £71,000; notes that the funds raised will support Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH), Lifestars and charities chosen by individual participants, who were able to direct 30% of their fundraising; applauds Aberdeen International Airport and all the organisations that supported the run, and wishes them all the best for the future.
