Bearsden Woman Wins Pride of Scotland Fundraiser of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Tracey Howe, of Bearsden, for her recent recognition at the Pride of Scotland Awards; understands Tracey received the Fundraiser of the Year award at the ceremony in Glasgow on 8 June 2026; further understands it was in recognition of TraceysTrek that saw Tracey walk over 5000 miles and 11 million steps around the coast of Britain, raising over £70,000 for several charities in memory of her wife, Angela White; celebrates individuals such as Tracey, who help raise vital funds for Marie Curie UK, CoppaFeel!, Breast Cancer Now, Brainstrust and the Beatson Cancer Charity, and congratulates Tracey on this illustrious and well deserved achievement.
