Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill
Lord Teverson moved amendment 25, in clause 11, page 11, line 10, at end to insert: “Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (1) All parts of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly must be included in constituencies which are wholly in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. (2) Rule 2 does not apply to these constituencies.”. The House divided:
The Not Contents have it
Majority 29
At a glance The Not Contents won by a margin of 29 votes. The Government's position was Not Content, and it won.

The party breakdowns are our own analysis of the official voting records (recorded votes only; they do not describe the formal whip). How we work this out.
Peers attend divisions ad hoc, so there is no did-not-vote list. Tellers are counted in the Content and Not Content totals, unlike in the Commons.
Tellers: Lord Berkeley (Content), Lord Teverson (Content), Baroness Anelay of St Johns (Not Content), Lord Shutt of Greetland (Not Content).
