Baroness Williams of Crosby moved amendment 9, in clause 7, page 6, line 45, at end to insert: “(1A) In paragraph 16 (detention of persons liable to examination or removal) after sub-paragraph (4) insert: “(5) A person detained under this paragraph must be released on bail in accordance with paragraph 22 no later than the sixtieth day following that on which the person was detained.”” The House divided:
