Export Control Bill

It was moved by the Lord Redesdale, in Clause 1, page 1, line 10, at end to insert: “( ) Where export controls apply to goods which are within one or more of the categories mentioned in paragraph 1(1) of the Schedule, the guidance issued under section 7 shall have regard to their issues relating to sustainable development and to any possible consequences of the goods being controlled that are of a kind mentioned in the Table in paragraph 3 of the Schedule.”; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
