Holocaust Memorial Bill

Baroness Deech moved, as an amendment to the motion that the bill be now read a second time, at end to insert “but this House regrets that the Bill fails to allow for a full appraisal and consultation on any preferred site for a Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre; and that in preparing the bill the Government have failed to establish the true cost of the project or deal with issues of security around the Memorial”.
