Baroness Pidgeon moved Motion 8B, as an amendment to the motion that this House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment 8, at end to insert “, and do propose Amendment 8C instead of the words so left out of the Bill—8C Clause 14, page 10, line 26, at end insert—“(5) The Secretary of State must take all necessary steps to ensure that the £2 bus fare cap is maintained for passengers using services that have been identified as socially necessary local services in accordance with section 138A of the Transport Act 2000.””The House divided:
