Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Household Tumble Dryers) Regulations 2026

Baroness Hoey moved that this House regrets the process that led to the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Household Tumble Dryers) Regulations 2026, because (1) the alignment with Northern Ireland the regulations seek to achieve requires the UK to follow EU law, and (2) they will lead to increased costs and lower efficacy associated with heat pump tumble dryers.
