What the petition asks
Once the Corona-virus lockdown has been lifted for the UK; I am of the opinion that the Great British public deserve to be thanked for their help.
I propose a week-long Public Holiday for the nation in order to catch up and resume normal service.
I propose a week-long Public Holiday for the nation in order to catch up and resume normal service.
The current measures are in place for an indeterminate amount of time; using the 12-week period of self-isolation for those most vulnerable that's at least 3 months for some - if not all of the country - that we will be under lockdown measures.
Some of the country are self-isolating with no recreational chances to spend time with their friends and family.
Others are working themselves to the bone on the front line to keep the country running.
I think we all deserve a week off after this!
