What the petition asks
To make St George’s Day a Bank Holiday during which we can celebrate all that the NHS are doing for us during the current pandemic and every day.
People have always said we don’t really celebrate St George’s Day. As you will know he was known for the tale of him slaying a dragon to save a princess.
In 2020 the NHS staff are our modern day St George and covid-19 the dragon that they are slaying to protect and save the health of our country.
