What the petition asks

The outgoing Prime Minister Liz Truss is entitled to £115,000 a year for life - having done 44 days work. Added to this that we now have 6 other prime ministers who can claim this, this should be reviewed immediately during a cost of living crisis.

The government should look into setting limits of some kind on these allowances (such as a time limit) or upping the threshold that allows access to this money.

Although it will not make a large difference to government budgets, it would show the government are slightly more in touch with people who are barely able to pay heating bills or mortgages.
