MMR and Autism Research
The motion
That the Parliament notes the recent announcement by Her Majesty’s Government of a £300,000 funding package to carry out a study into a possible link between the MMR vaccine and autism; acknowledges the genuine reservations parents have regarding sanctioning the use of the MMR vaccine and invites the Scottish Executive to consider initiating a similar research study.
