Mary Slessor Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the work of the Mary Slessor Foundation in continuing the work done in Calabar, Nigeria, by Mary Slessor of Dundee in the 19th century; notes the excellent work being done by the foundation to defeat poverty and disease in Nigeria, and further welcomes this commemoration of Mary Slessor and the encouragement of links between Scotland and Africa.
