Glasgow City Council Constitution Insult
The motion
That the Parliament considers the refusal by Glasgow City Council to fly the Union flag and include the national anthem in citizenship ceremonies to be unacceptable and urges the Scottish Executive to make representations to the Secretary of State for Scotland demanding that there should be no watering down of Her Majesty’s Government flagship policy on citizen ceremonies by any of the bodies authorised to carry out such duties.
