Stirling Schools PPP
The motion
As an amendment to motion S2M-04327 in the name of Dr Sylvia Jackson (Stirling Schools PPP), leave out from “congratulates” to end and insert “is alarmed that Stirling Council and the Scottish Executive have financed the Stirling schools PPP contract on a flawed and unsound basis which has already led to cuts in children’s services of around £1 million and will lead to further increases in council tax over the next 30 years in order to make up a £30 million shortfall in funding.”
