Statue of James Clerk Maxwell

The motion

That the Parliament notes the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s plans for a statue of James Clerk Maxwell in Edinburgh; commends it for its suggestion that the Parliament could provide an ideal site for such a statue; notes that the society does not seek public funding for the project, only a suitable location, and considers a site within the Parliament’s precincts to be an ideal venue for such a statue.
