Shelter - Homeless Children at Christmas
The motion
That the Parliament notes with concern Shelter Scotland's estimate that almost 5,000 children will be in temporary accommodation this Christmas and that, despite a three-year-old Scottish Executive pledge, reported in the Daily Record, that there would be no homeless children in bed and breakfast hotels at Christmas, there are still councils using unsuitable accommodation for children at this time of year.
