The Donald Dewar Room
The motion
That the Parliament invites the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body to make better use of the Donald Dewar Room; notes that there is no adequate and congenial room in the Parliament available for quiet study, and suggests that the Donald Dewar Room be used as a quiet reading and writing room for MSPs and staff of all kinds, open at all reasonable hours, with no telephones, lap-tops or other equipment and with Donald Dewar’s books kept secure but available to borrow.
