Solidarity with PCS Workers

That the Parliament notes the overwhelming vote in favour of strike action by members of the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS); offers support to these vital workers in their fight against cuts and compulsory redundancies; condemns the government’s lack of assurances on job security, below inflation pay offers, dogmatic privatisation agenda and failure to progress national pay issues, and calls for a moratorium on all civil service redundancies.
