Away the Bot, Congratulations to Auchinleck Talbot FC
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all the players and staff of Auchinleck Talbot FC on their historic eighth victory in the 2009 Citilink Scottish Junior Cup final; further congratulates Auchinleck Talbot FC’s manager, Tommy Sloan, on his second victory in the competition as the club’s manager; recognises the significance of this achievement in Auchinleck Talbot FC’s centenary year; praises the crowd of 8,122, fans of both Auchinleck Talbot FC and Clydebank FC, for creating a fantastic atmosphere at the final in Rugby Park, Kilmarnock; recognises the hard work of the Auchinleck Talbot committee and its strong links with the local community; thanks the people of Mauchline, Catrine and Auchinleck who turned out to welcome the team back to Beechwood Park, and also thanks everyone at the Scottish Junior Football Association and all those involved in junior football at a local level for their support for the game.
