Congratulations to Dykehead Primary School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dykehead Primary School in Shotts for achieving a very good HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) report; notes that the primary school received five very good ratings; further notes the particular strengths of the school identified by HMIE, including confident, polite and friendly children who are motivated learners and work well together, high quality care provided by staff, children’s knowledge about health and wellbeing and their achievements in learning to speak, read and write in French and the vision and leadership of the headteacher and principal teacher, and wishes the pupils and staff continued success in the future.
