Congratulations to Holyrood Secondary School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Holyrood Secondary School on the south side of Glasgow for its achievement of an excellent report from HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE); recognises Holyrood’s headteacher Thomas McDonald and his staff for their strong lead in establishing and delivering a clear vision for school improvement; further commends Mr McDonald and his staff for driving forward the school's work with energy and enthusiasm while seeking the highest possible standards, as stated in the HMIE report, and, finally, praises the Holyrood students, as well as the faculty, for their motivation, positive attitudes and engagement for learning, while consistently attaining learning levels well above the national averages.
