Congratulations to Sandaig Primary School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all the pupils and staff of Sandaig Primary School in Barlanark in the east end of Glasgow on receiving an excellent HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) report, carried out in May 2010, which gave the school four excellent and one very good ratings; notes the outstanding leadership of the head teacher Moira McArthur and the teamwork and commitment of all the staff; recognises the progress made in recent years in improving the attainment of pupils at every level, resulting in almost all children now achieving, or exceeding, appropriate national levels, and hopes that the school will continue to achieve at such a high level in the years to come.
