UK Recovery Walk Welcome in Glasgow
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the UK Recovery Walk 2010, which will take place at 2pm on Saturday 25 September at Glasgow Green; congratulates the Scottish Drugs Recovery Consortium and other partners on organising the event; considers that this is a unique opportunity to show that recovery from drug problems and addiction is a reality for people across Scotland, and hopes that as many people as possible will participate in the day of events for all the family to show solidarity with those whose lives have been affected by addiction.
