Congratulations to The Banter Magazine, West Dunbartonshire
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates what it considers the tremendous achievement by West Dunbartonshire Community and Volunteering Services (WDCVS) in having The Banter Magazine shortlisted for Best Small Publishing Company Magazine and Best Consumer Design Magazine in the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) Scottish Magazine Awards 2010, in which it will compete against established publications such as The Big Issue and The List; applauds what it sees as the tremendous contribution of enthusiasm and commitment from both staff and volunteers that have led to this nomination, and hopes that this publication will continue to raise awareness of volunteering and active citizenship in a highly relevant way.
