Scottish Success at World Karate Confederation Championships

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates competitors from the Scottish National Karate Federation on winning seven medals, consisting of four silvers and three bronze, at the 7th World Karate Confederation World Championships for Juniors and Cadets and World Cup for Children which was held in Caorle, Italy between 22 and 24 October 2010, and recognises the scale of the achievement of a team of just 15 young people based at Aberdeen's National Karate Institute who, with their coach Ronnie Watt, competed alongside 1,200 other athletes from 22 countries across the world.
