Sport Your Trainers Day, 14 March
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow 2014 on the launch of its Sport Your Trainers campaign, which asks people to swap their shoes for trainers on Commonwealth Day on 14 March 2011; encourages local authorities, schools, workplaces and MSPs of all parties to participate in the event; considers that such campaigns have the potential to engage the whole of Scotland and raise the profile of the Commonwealth Games, and wishes all involved with the campaign every success.
