Aberdeen International Street Market
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen International Street Market on being named the Best Speciality Market of the Year 2011 at the joint National Association of British Market Authorities and UK Association of Town Centre Management conference that was held in Birmingham; notes that the market, which takes place quarterly on Union Terrace in Aberdeen, features foods and crafts from across the world and is attended by thousands of shoppers; recognises the work done by Aberdeen City Council, Grampian Police and Geraud UK in hosting the event, and wishes the market every success in the future.
