Live Below the Line
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the Live Below the Line campaign launched by the Global Poverty Project in March 2011; notes that supporters of the campaign will live on less than £1 a day between 2 and 6 May; believes that the campaign is an excellent way to highlight the plight of 1.4 billion people who live in extreme poverty, and looks forward to as many people as possible supporting the campaign and the Global Poverty Project’s aim of invigorating a global movement to take effective, concerted action to end extreme poverty in an a generation.
