Supporting Health Visitors for Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament notes the Health Visitors for Scotland campaign, run by the Royal College of Nursing Scotland with support from a wide range of children and other organisations, and believes that Scotland should be the best place in the world to grow up but that, in order to achieve this, the health visiting workforce should be invested in and fully resourced to allow it to provide a high quality, comprehensive and universal service to all of Scotland’s families as well as to deliver the new duties that will be placed on it as a result of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Bill if it is passed by the Parliament.
