UNICEF Day for Change
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work that primary schools in the Angus North and Mearns constituency put into the 2014 UNICEF Day for Change, which took place on 7 February; notes that the day focused on raising money for the 68 million children around the world who do not have access to education and that the schools were encouraged to use their fundraising activities to educate pupils on what life is like around the world, and congratulates the schools on organising activities, including coffee mornings and dress as you please and bad hair days, to raise money and awareness of the UNICEF Day for Change.
