Gorgie Memorial Hall at Heart of the Community
The motion
That the Parliament supports the Gorgie War Memorial Hall Community Centre in its ongoing work in the local community; considers that the "Gorgie Mem" exists to benefit the inhabitants of Gorgie through the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare, recreation and other leisure time activities with the objective of improving the conditions of life; supports the network of community centres across Scotland that provide what it sees as a vital service for community groups, organisations and clubs and assists in maintaining the fabric of Scottish society, and wishes the Gorgie Mem all the best for the future.
