Congratulations to Corpus Christi Primary School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Corpus Christi Primary and Nursery School in Calderbank, Airdrie, on its recent inspection by Education Scotland; believes that the inspection report is recognition of the high calibre of educational and social experience provided for students at the school; considers that this is further reflected in the report's recognition of the pride that pupils take in their school and their positive feelings about the atmosphere created by teachers; believes that this atmosphere is reflected in the buddy befriending system set up to help new children adjust to the school; understands that the report considers that children have a positive attitude about their own learning; recognises the importance to the school's development of the contribution of all staff who the children recognise look after them well, in particular the head teacher, with her commitment recognised as a key strength in the report; praises the teachers for the smooth transition of older pupils to high school, and wishes the staff and pupils every success in the future.
