Congratulations to the First Step Group
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the First Step Group on being awarded £9,920 from the Big Lottery Fund’s Investing in Ideas programme; understands that the organisation offers a drop-in session for people with mental health issues to socialise and support each other and also provides summer trips and other activities such as bingo and crafts; further understands that the group is seeking funding to run a pilot project for people, which would improve their health and wellbeing, build confidence and signpost participants to other mental health services, and wishes the project continued success.
