Seafood in Schools at Kingussie High School

The motion

That the Parliament notes that Seafood Scotland took its Seafood in Schools project to Kingussie High School recently; notes that high school pupils were joined by pupils from Alvie, Gergask, Kingussie and Newtonmore primaries, ensuring that the project reached more than 200 pupils during the day; understands that Seafood in Schools is a project that aims to teach children about Scottish seafood, explaining where it comes from, how it reaches their plates and the benefits of eating seafood, and welcomes the engagement with pupils and staff of these schools, ensuring a better understanding of the Scottish seafood industry and the benefits of eating fish as part of a healthy balanced diet.
