The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Scottish Federation of University Women (SFUW) has supported a resolution by the International Federation of University Women (IFUW) calling on governments around the world to enact legislation prohibiting the purchasing of sexual services and impose criminal sanctions on the purchasers of sexual services with no criminal sanctions for prostituted persons; further notes that the IFUW resolution also urges governments to work toward providing essential services and funding to enable prostituted persons to earn a living free from prostitution, and recognises the SFUW’s support for the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Bill
