Revitalisation of Kirkintilloch Town Centre
The motion
As an amendment to motion S4M-14726 in the name of Jackson Carlaw (Revitalisation of Kirkintilloch Town Centre), after "Town Centre Masterplan" insert "; notes with grave concern the shared space proposal by the council for the Catherine Street junction, which it believes will have a huge detrimental impact on people with visual impairments, wheelchair users and older people, and calls on East Dunbartonshire Council not to ignore what it considers the vociferous local protests".
