Congratulations to Dorothy Stewart
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dorothy Stewart on being awarded the David MacLennan Scholarship for Creative Writing in recognition of what it believes has been her outstanding work in the Glasgow Caledonian University MA TV Fiction Writing programme; understands that the programme, which has attracted scholarship funding from Warner Brothers, Shed Media and MG ALBA, contributes to the cultural richness of Glasgow and is the only dedicated full-time course of its type in the UK; believes that the scholarship pays tribute to the commitment and support that David MacLennan gave to the programme, and wishes it and its dedicated students continued success.
