Congratulations to DG Life Award Finalists and Winners

That the Parliament congratulates Dumfries and Galloway Life on what it considers its successful awards ceremony at the Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries on 20 November 2015 and further congratulates all finalists and, in particular, the winners, Garden Rooms, which won the Most Promising Developing Business award, Graham Hollinger, who won the Young Entrepreneur award, Keith Muir, the Tourism Champion award, Jackie Bell, the Business Person award, Dr Mary Ann Smyth, the Environment Champion award, Sinclair Barbour, the Community Champion award, Portpatrick Community Benefit Society and Queensberry Initiative, the Joint Community Project award, Rebecca Emily Coles and Courtney Grieve, the Joint Young Volunteer award, David Grieve, the Volunteer award, Loch Arthur Camphill, the Community and Outstanding Contribution to Dumfries and Galloway awards, Kilnford Farm Shop, the Producer award, Potting Shed Bistro, the Cafe award, Paul Summerville, the Chef award, Brodies, the Restaurant award, Solway Sharks Ladies Ice Hockey Team, the Sports Team award, David McMath, the Young Sportsperson award, Stuart Jamieson, the Sportsperson award, Ryan Smith, the Visual Artist award, Grant Dinwoodie, the Performing Artist award, Absolute Classics and Sid Ambrose, the Joint Culture Champions award, and 83-year-old Bill Moran, who won the Dumfries and Galloway Special Award.
