Congratulations to Murdoch Allan
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Hatton-based bakery, Murdoch Allan, on the extension of its contract with Asda; understands that, due to its popularity, the bakery's produce is now stocked in 47 stores throughout Scotland; believes that it has recruited 10 new employees in the community to deal with the increased production and distribution requirements; understands that it has been supplying products to Asda for over 10 years, and has been supported through the Scottish Supplier Development Academy, which aims to generate new sales for Scotland's food and drink businesses; commends what it sees as the hard work of Murdoch Allan and its staff, and wishes the business and its employees all the best for the future.
