The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Glasgow teenager, Jack Wands, who, it understands, is the first pupil from his school, St Andrew’s Secondary School, to go to the University of Oxford; notes that, having passed the entrance exam, Jack has secured a place to study politics, philosophy and economics, following, it considers, in the footsteps of prime ministers; understands that Jack will be the first in his family to go to university, and wishes him all the best for his studies.
