Ann Binks Wins Excellence in Community Leadership Award

That the Parliament congratulates Ann Binks, who is the community life champion at Asda Coatbridge, on winning an Asda Excellence in Community Leadership Award; understands that these awards recognise members of staff who have organised special regional fundraising or volunteering events or who have performed above expectation for their community; recognises what it sees as Ann's outstanding community contribution by providing wholesome meals to people who were in need over the festive period, including serving food at her local foodbank on Christmas Day; understands that she has also established a cookery class to educate and assist single mothers to help provide them with value for money and nutritious meals for their families, and supported charities in the Coatbridge area; commends what it sees as her tireless hard work in helping people in most need throughout the community through her role as a community life champion, and wishes Ann every success in all her endeavours.
