Communities and Families Fund Awards to Glasgow Groups
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Lambhill Stables and Friends of Victoria Park on being awarded a total of £17,200 from the Community and Family Fund; understands that Lambhill Stables will use the funding for sessional staff to run a Balancability Programme for children aged two-and-a-half to six and that Friends of Victoria Park will install a roundabout for wheelchair users in the park; acknowledges that the Communities and Families Fund offers £6 million of funding to organisations that improve early learning, health and wellbeing for children under eight; believes that the fund improves the lives of young people by supporting them, their families and communities, and wishes continued success to these organisations and to the Communities and Families Fund, in their work for young people in Glasgow and across Scotland.
