Communities and Family Funding for Wormit Playgroup
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the North East Fife-based Wormit Playgroup on being awarded £4,495 by the Communities and Family Fund; understands that it will use this to provide opportunities for 120 children to engage in artist-led workshops that will use mixed media and photographic imaging to create individual pieces of artwork; believes that this will be delivered in collaboration with primary schools and culminate in a public exhibition in Newport-on-Tay, and welcomes what it sees as the essential contribution that the fund, which is jointly funded by the Scottish Government and the Big Lottery Fund, makes to North East Fife by improving early learning, health and wellbeing for children under eight by supporting them, their families and communities.
