Congratulations to Cumbernauld Living Landscape
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Cumbernauld Living Landscape (CLL) and its partners on being awarded £10,000 by Tesco from money raised from the carrier bag charge to improve the area around St Maurice's Pond; welcomes reports that the charge is drastically reducing the use of carrier bags and raising money for community organisations that are important and worthwhile; understands that CLL carries out valuable work protecting and improving valuable green spaces and engages a large number of school pupils and volunteers in a diverse range of activities, and wishes it every success.
